Here’s a few images from the First Project Mojave Conference which took place on the first weekend of November, at Joshua Tree National Park in southern California, near Palm Springs.
This photo reminds me of a Western movie. Supposedly, there are roadrunners in the area but unfortunately we didn’t see any that weekend just a spider.
I love the contrasting orange granite boulders against the blue sky. From left to right: Cheryl, Mike, Marcos, Kim, Jackie, Andy and Crystal.
This park is a great training ground for beginning rock climbers.

What I like most about traveling with a group, apart from the good company, is having photographs taken from different angles and points of view.
The nearby town of Twentynine Palms, is very picturesque too. Luckily some of the conference attendants were able to take photographs on the last day.

I got to meet in person a fine group of people, including Mojave Project’s founder Clay Collins. We talked about business, life and making money online while hiking, sitting by the fire and preparing meals.
California is an awesome state with an extremely diverse geography: desert, mountains, lakes, beaches, waterfalls, even islands, you name it, they have it all.
The weather was very pleasant with little or no humidity. Crisp blue skies during the day and at night, the stars shone so bright we could see the Milky Way.
Overall, it was a rewarding and memorable experience.
