Once upon a wavy day, three friends were happily playing tag in the underwater. One of the friends was a seahorse, her name was Shelley. Shelley loved to think big, so they weren’t just playing tag – they were playing hide and seek tag! Belle was a starfish so she could camouflage and she was always the last to be found, but when she was the seeker, it took her 1.28 milliseconds. Carrot, on the other hand, could pretend to be seaweed, so you probably guessed it, she was a jellyfish. On the weekend, the friends went on a wavy-coaster – they always saw their friends and made new friends especially Belle.

One day, they were going to do a science project, but they were split up. They had to go in pairs. So, Carrot was with someone else, not her friends. Carrot wanted to do a volcano and so did her partner, so they were fine. But Belle and Shelley weren’t working so fine. So, the next day they didn’t talk to each other, and Carrot was caught in the middle. She didn’t know what to do. Carrot and her partner were experimenting for the colour of the lava. Belle and Shelly were making a sand machine, but Shelley wanted to make it big, Belle disagreed. ‘Do you know what they could do?’ – Carrot didn’t maybe she would find a way soon.

While Carrot and her partner started looking for their ingredients for the volcano, Belle and Shelley had made up. Belle was looking for blow bubbles because these bubbles blow air out. On the other hand, Shelly saw some seaweed that could be useful for their sand machine. The machine helps to get sand out of sea creatures’ eyes.

Today in sea school their teacher said there will be a prize for the most useful and fun project. Carrot thought hers would be the most fun one but how could she and her partner make it useful? That afternoon, Carrot met up with Stella, her partner, to think of something to make their volcano useful. They found a colour that they liked and it also happened to make things useful. It was ‘sefired’ – they had never heard of that before. So, the next day, Carrot went into the cave and got captured by a sticky, evil octopus.

While Carrot was stuck in the metal cage her partner was getting worried. Stella thought her partner was just looking for materials for their project but then days flew by and Shelley and Belle had nearly finished their project. Stella woke up feeling shocked. She had a bad dream about Carrot. So, after breakfast Stella went to find Shelly and Belle. She found them playing hide and seek tag. Stella explained about her dream, so they set off to find Carrot.

Carrot had been very bored seeing the octopus reading and watching TV. One afternoon, she thought that she should try to talk to the octopus. ‘Hi there. My name is Carrot. Do you want to be friends?’ The octopus said ‘Friends? Okay, I’ve never had a friend before.’ From the internet the octopus was mean, but he was actually friendly and nice. The three other friends found the cave with an enormous rock as an entrance. But they didn’t know how to get in. Luckily, Shelly always a great, big, complicated idea.

Shelly and Stella went to get a sea log, while Belle tried to spot Carrot. When Shelly and Stella came back, they got a little bit of seaweed and wrapped it around the sea log, and they started to pull.

Meanwhile, Carrot and the octopus were having a disco party. They even made a tower of seacos. Seacos are kind of like tacos but with seaweed and sand.

Outside, the three friends finally got a little crack from the big rock. Five hours went by, then ten. They finally propped the stone open, then…

The octopus and Carrot froze. Stella, Shelly and Belle sighed in relief. They had finally found their friend! They hugged happily. Carrot introduced the octopus to her friends. The octopus said shily said ‘hi.’ The three talked about their adventure to find Carrot, then the five of them became friends. They called themselves The Incredibles! Carrot and her friends celebrated all night, then they played hide and seek tag in the morning. Since the octopus’ cave was dark the friends helped it to look wonderful.

At sea school the friends asked the teacher if they could combine groups. The teacher said ‘sure,’ so they built a sand-o-cano machine. And guess what? The Incredibles won first prize – woo hoo, yay hooray!

On the weekend, The Incredibles went on the wave coaster. They got interviewed by the sea-news. One sea-news crew asked how they became friends with the evil octopus. Carrot said, ‘it was a long story,’ then she told the story, also adding that the octopus is not evil in the inside she’s friendly and nice.

It was ten years later…they were playing hide a bear. It was an interesting game. They stayed The Incredibles for the rest of their sea-life.
